But you can still see good results at 200 or 300 above those size limits. Worth noting the brushes were designed fairly small with a size range of 30px-100px (mentioned in the brush pack notes). Yes, but Astropad is not supported on Windows, as far as I know. But all of those are a couple of years old, I havent heard of Astropad for some years now. Not all tools are implemented in the best way, but free of charge has to be installed on every computer that supports this feature. I havent had reports that Astropad works with Krita though, and quite a few stating the opposite. Matthias wanted to show the ease with which it was possible to hack a Qt GUI around an existing application, and the application he chose to demo it with was GIMP. The pack is free to grab from GitHub and it’s compatible with all versions of Krita 2.8+. There is Astropad for iPad (and other apps too). Its designed for comic book artists, illustrators. ![]() The origin of Krita can be traced to Matthias Ettrich’s at the 1998 Linux Kongress. Krita is a free and powerful sketching and painting application for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. The name “Krita” comes from Swedish, and means “to draw” or “chalk” and was taken after the names “KImageShop” and “Krayon” gave problems.
